29th Annual National Juried Fine Art Exhibition and Sale

Overview

The 29th Annual National Juried Fine Art Exhibition and Sale invites PAAC members to submit original plein air paintings for juried selection. The show features nearly $15,000 in prizes and an awards presentation with Artists' Choice voting.

Eligibility

Open to all current PAAC members. Entries must be original paintings completed en plein air in 2024, 2025, or until the 2026 deadline. Work must be two-dimensional (no photography, fiber, or digital media). Studio paintings and still life paintings not clearly completed outdoors are not eligible. Work done in class or under instructor guidance is not eligible. Works previously exhibited in PAAC National shows are not eligible. Artists who withdraw after acceptance are ineligible for the next two PAAC exhibitions.

Media & Size

• Two-dimensional media only (excluding photography, fiber, and digital media)
• No paintings over photographs or digital images; no AI-generated images or references
• Maximum unframed size: 192 square inches (e.g., 12" × 16")
• Paintings must be professionally framed in gallery-quality wood frame, wired and ready to hang (no sawtooth hangers)
• Works on paper must be under glass or Plexiglas

Entry Fees

• Member/Signature: $60 for up to 3 works; $10 for each additional work (up to 5 total submissions = $80)
• Master: $0 — No entry fee
• All fees are non-refundable, whether or not work is accepted
• Entry fees and 2026 membership dues must be received prior to jurying or application will not be deemed complete

Submission & How to Enter

All entries must be submitted via ShowSubmit.com. Artists must pay 2026 membership dues through the PAAC website before the deadline. You will receive acceptance notification by Wednesday, July 29, 2026 via email from [email protected]. A maximum of 2 paintings may be selected to hang from up to 5 image submissions.

Awards & Sales

Nearly $15,000 in prizes (cash and merchandise) are awarded. Gallery/PAAC commission structure: 75% artist, 15% gallery, 10% PAAC. Minimum sale price is $450. Works must be available for sale and include a label on the back with artist name, title, medium, size, and price.

Delivery & Framing

Shipped artwork must arrive September 14–24, 2026. Hand-delivered works are accepted September 29–30, 2026, 10am–4pm. All paintings must be professionally framed in gallery-quality wood frames, wired and ready to hang (no sawtooth hangers). Works on paper must be under glass or Plexiglas. Artists are responsible for all shipping charges and for insuring their work during transit and display.
