About
Submit up to 3 original artworks created within the past 3 years for a juried exhibition exploring artifacts, marks, remnants, and meaningful objects.
Overview
6 Bridges Gallery invites artists to submit work for Artifacts, a juried exhibition exploring the marks, remnants, and meaningful objects that shape our understanding of the world. All interpretations and mediums are accepted, excluding video and AI-generated art.
About the Work
We are seeking artwork that uncovers the traces of what remains: the hidden histories, personal relics, and quiet evidence of lives lived. Artists are encouraged to reflect on what we carry forward—whether physical, emotional, cultural, or imagined—and how these artifacts reveal the stories and connections that endure over time.
About the Juror
The exhibit will be juried by Claudia Fiks, an independent curator and arts administrator with over 20 years of experience supporting artists and shaping exhibition programs across the Boston area. She is Founder and Director of TAG | The Art Gallery at the New England Art Center (NEAC) in Boston's SoWa Art & Design District. Claudia values authenticity, risk-taking, and the ability of work to communicate beyond the surface. She is particularly interested in work that demonstrates clarity of intention, conceptual depth, and a compelling visual language, regardless of medium or career stage.
