Eligibility

Open to international artists.

What to submit

1–2 watercolor paintings. Images must be submitted as JPEG or JPG files, at least 1200 pixels on the longest side, max 5 MB, cropped to show only the painting without mat or frame.

Awards

• 1st Place $1,750
• 2nd Place $1,250
• 3rd Place $1,000
• 4th Place $800
• PWS President's Awards $600
• PWS Board Members Award $500
• Additional cash and merchandise awards may be presented

Signature status

Awarded to PWS members when accepted into two PWS Juried Exhibitions within an eight-year period. The Sylvan Grouse Guild Award is awarded to PWS signature members who have attained six points through awards won at annual PWS Juried Exhibitions.

Sales & commission

Paintings can be sold unframed or framed at the artist's discretion. A commission of 35% of the sale price is payable to PWS by the artist for works sold during the exhibition period. All sales are direct transactions between artist and buyer; the artist is responsible for payment processing, sales tax, and shipping.
