In the Realm of the Mystic

Overview

Verum Ultimum Art Gallery invites artists to submit work interpreting the theme "In the Realm of the Mystic." All mediums and modes of expression are encouraged, including narrative, illustrative, conceptual, and abstract work. The theme may be interpreted in many ways. This is a virtual exhibition only, featured on the gallery website with an exhibition catalog and social media promotion.

Eligibility

• Open to all 2D and 3D artists, national and international
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• All forms of painting, drawing, photography, graphics, digital, and sculpture are eligible

Media & Submission Requirements

• Submit 2–5 digital JPG images (minimum 2 required; anything over 2 is optional)
• Details of artwork count as an additional artwork
• Maximum 5 total images per artist

Key Dates

• Submission deadline: August 6, 2026
• Notification (by email): by September 15, 2026
• Exhibition dates: Mid-September 2026 for a minimum of 4 weeks

Entry Fee

• $25.00 for 2 images (minimum requirement)
• $5 for any entries over the minimum
• Payment by credit card at time of entry through Cafe

Exhibition & Sales

Selected artists will be featured in a virtual group exhibition on the Verum Ultimum Art Gallery website, including an exhibition page and virtual viewing galleries in scale. Artists will be featured in a published exhibition catalog and online blog posts. Social media promotion will continue for a minimum of 4 weeks.

Sales Commission

Works may be for sale or artists may elect NFS (not for sale) option. The gallery retains a 20% commission on all sales and provides prepaid shipping labels when work sells.

Notification

Artists will be notified of acceptance or non-acceptance no later than 30 days after the deadline via email. Type your email address clearly to ensure notification.
