About
Submit 3-5 studio photos, 3-5 artwork photos, artist statement, bio, and website/social media links to participate in a self-guided artist studio tour weekend.
Overview
ArtAbout is a self-guided tour of artist studios, homes, mines, warehouses, camps, shacks, garages, co-ops, and outdoor places where art is made. During the weekend of October 3rd and 4th, 2026, participating artists will open their studio doors to the public, allowing visitors to understand their creative process, purchase original artwork, and develop connections with the local creative community.

Eligibility
- Regional artists
- 18+ in age
- Working in various mediums including textiles, oil painting, watercolors, acrylic painting, jewelry, metalsmithing, ceramics, pottery, photography, painting, sculpture, fiber arts, and more
What You Must Provide
- 3-5 photos of your studio (include parking information, accessibility limitations such as stairs, narrow doorways, small spaces, and other pertinent visiting information)
- 3-5 photos of artwork
- Artist Statement & Bio
- Website and/or social media links
What Is Required of Participants
- Provide one piece of artwork for the Preview Exhibition at Ah Haa School for the Arts gallery
- Be present in your studio and keep it open to the public for the entire ArtAbout weekend: October 3-4, 10am-4pm daily
- Agree to have studio space clearly marked with provided ArtAbout signage
- Allow possible studio visit by Ah Haa staff to ensure space is suitable for public visitation
Commission & Sales
Sales of pieces in the Preview Exhibition are subject to a 60/40 income split: 60% to the artist, 40% to Ah Haa. Any sales of artwork at artist studios during the ArtAbout weekend are direct sales; the artist retains 100% of sales income. Ah Haa is not liable for these direct sales arrangements.

- Marketing of ArtAbout artists and locations across multiple platforms
- Opportunity to engage directly with the public and sell work directly to visitors
- All official photo and video documentation of the ArtAbout event
