Submit up to 3 original artworks inspired by the shrub-steppe lands of Central Washington for juried consideration in an annual art exhibit.

Images of the Shrub-Steppe is an annual juried art exhibit featuring work inspired by the shrub-steppe lands of Cowiche Canyon Conservancy. Juried by Nancy Floyd. All artwork in the exhibit must be for sale; the gallery takes a 35% commission.

  • Artwork delivery: Tuesday, September 1, 10 am to 2 pm
  • Shipped artwork must arrive by Thursday, August 27
  • Exhibition: September 5–27, 2026
  • Artists Reception: September 5
  • Work must be original and completed within the past five years
  • Work must be inspired by the shrub-steppe lands of Central Washington
  • Work not previously shown in Images of the Shrub-Steppe exhibits is not eligible
  • No media restrictions
  • Submit up to 3 pieces per artist
  • All artwork must be delivered display ready, labeled on the back with artist name, title and price
  • Hanging artwork must have hanging wire installed on the back
  • Entry fee: $35 (non-refundable)
  • Juror's Award: $100
  • People's Choice Award: $100
  • CCC Award: $100
  • Gallery commission: 35% on sales
  • Delivery location: Boxx Gallery, Tieton, Washington
  • In-person delivery: Tuesday, September 1, 10 am to 2 pm
  • Shipped artwork address: Boxx Gallery, PO Box 508, Tieton, WA 98947 (must arrive by Thursday, August 27)
  • Shipping costs are the artist's responsibility; pre-printed return shipping label must be included

Eligibility
Artists of all media whose work is original, inspired by the shrub-steppe lands of Central Washington, and completed within the past five years. Work previously shown in this exhibit is not eligible.
