Submit up to 3 original artworks inspired by the shrub-steppe lands of Central Washington for juried consideration in an annual art exhibit.
Overview
Images of the Shrub-Steppe is an annual juried art exhibit featuring work inspired by the shrub-steppe lands of Cowiche Canyon Conservancy. Juried by Nancy Floyd. All artwork in the exhibit must be for sale; the gallery takes a 35% commission.

- Entry deadline: July 31, 2026 at 11:59 pm PST
- Notifications emailed by August 10, 2026
- Artwork delivery: Tuesday, September 1, 10 am to 2 pm
- Shipped artwork must arrive by Thursday, August 27
- Exhibition: September 5–27, 2026
- Artists Reception: September 5
Eligibility
- Work must be original and completed within the past five years
- Work must be inspired by the shrub-steppe lands of Central Washington
- Work not previously shown in Images of the Shrub-Steppe exhibits is not eligible
Media & submission
- No media restrictions
- Submit up to 3 pieces per artist
- All artwork must be delivered display ready, labeled on the back with artist name, title and price
- Hanging artwork must have hanging wire installed on the back

- Entry fee: $35 (non-refundable)
- Juror's Award: $100
- People's Choice Award: $100
- CCC Award: $100
- Gallery commission: 35% on sales
Delivery & logistics
- Delivery location: Boxx Gallery, Tieton, Washington
- In-person delivery: Tuesday, September 1, 10 am to 2 pm
- Shipped artwork address: Boxx Gallery, PO Box 508, Tieton, WA 98947 (must arrive by Thursday, August 27)
- Shipping costs are the artist's responsibility; pre-printed return shipping label must be included
