Overview
Arizona's first Arts Learning and Leadership (ALL) AZ Summit, hosted by the Phoenix Conservatory of Music and facilitated by ArtsEd West. The summit provides access to 2 breakout sessions featuring over 20 sessions, a nationally-recognized keynote and master workshop facilitator, community-building and networking with facilitated solutions-making sessions, and hands-on art-making sessions. Participants will gain skills and tools to shape public policy in their communities.
Why This Matters
Over 140,000 AZ students are without access to arts education. 28% of AZ schools offer no arts courses. Six AZ counties are seeing a decline in school-based arts education. Access to the arts is part of each child's civil rights, and students who participate in the arts are more likely to graduate from high school.
