The North East Watercolor Society celebrates its 50th Annual National Juried Exhibition at Adelphi University Performing Arts Center in Garden City, New York. Over $6,000 in cash awards and merchandise will be distributed.

Eligibility
This is a national show; international submissions are not accepted. NEWS members may submit 1 or 2 paintings; non-members may submit 1 painting. Only 1 painting per artist may be accepted.
Submission requirements
- Paintings must be executed within the last 4 years
- Not previously exhibited in a NEWS International, National, or Member Exhibition
- Watercolor on paper, Yupo, and Aquaboard allowed
- Minor amounts of pencil or opaque white allowed
- Minor amounts of gouache and watercolor pencil allowed only if used in fluid form
- No acrylic, casein, egg tempera, ink, magic marker, charcoal, pastel, collage, or any form of print or reproductions
- Original artist's work only; no class work, instructor-supervised work, copies of other artists' work, or use of other artists' photographs
- No work generated with or assisted by AI (artificial intelligence)
- Accepted artwork cannot be displayed in other online or in-person shows during the duration of the exhibition

Entries and fees must be received by July 16, 2026 at 3 PM EST. All fees must be paid online through the CaFE website. Log in or create an account at https://artist.callforentry.org/login.php and apply to the show under "Apply to Calls."
