2026 Holiday Fine Art Market

Overview

The 40th Annual Fine Art Market is the Arvada Center Galleries' annual fundraiser, featuring more than 100 acclaimed Colorado artists working in a variety of media. Participating artists are both invited and juried. The Arvada Center staff manages all displays and sales, which are processed using Square. Artists must submit inventory sheets in digital format.

• Call for Entry: June 1 – July 27, 2026
• Application deadline: July 27, 2026, midnight
• Notifications emailed by: August 14, 2026
• Artwork drop-off: November 12, 2026, 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Opening reception: November 27, 2026, 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.
• Exhibition dates: November 27 – December 13, 2026
• Unsold artwork pickup: December 17, 2026, 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Eligibility

Open to all artists over age 18 who currently reside in Colorado. All media are eligible. Artists who have not participated in the Art Market previously, or who have not participated in the past two years, must apply. Previously selected artists may be invited to return.

What to submit

Submit up to 10 high-resolution digital images (minimum 5 required), one image per piece. Images should represent the type of work you would like to sell and do not need to be the actual works in the sale. Include technical information for each image: title, medium/description, size in inches (height × length × depth), date created, and sale price. Artist resume/statement or website is optional.

Fees

• $35 non-refundable jury fee to apply
• $25 participation fee upon acceptance
• Limited entrance fee scholarships available for artists experiencing economic hardship, BIPOC artists, and LGBTQIA+ identifying artists (email galleries@arvadacenter.org to request)

Inventory expectations

Selected artists will be requested to provide enough items to last for a majority of the sale, with some limited back stock. Examples: 30–40 functional ceramic pieces, 35–40 jewelry items, 20 matted prints, 6–9 medium-sized paintings. The sale should include a variety of price points from affordable gifts ($20–$100) to higher-end art/craft ($800–$2,000+).

Sales terms

Sales will be split 60/40 between the artist and the Arvada Center in benefit of the Arvada Center Galleries. The Art Market will be arranged like an exhibition with multiple works by each participating artist on display in the Main Gallery.
