Submit up to three original small artworks with one dimension measuring 6 inches for a juried exhibition.
Overview
The 6 by Exhibit showcases small original artworks by visual artists of any medium. One dimension of each work must measure 6 inches. Up to three pieces of original work may be submitted per artist; no prints or mass-produced work accepted.

Eligibility
Participants must be 18 years old and above. Only original work accepted; no prints or mass-produced work.
Media & size requirements
- 2D work: One dimension (height and/or width) must measure 6", up to maximum 6 x 18 inches (dimensions before framing). Must be properly wired for hanging; no sawtooth hangers.
- 3D work: At least one dimension must measure 6" (height, width, or depth) with no other dimension exceeding 12".
Fees
- $30 for 1st entry
- $15 for each additional entry (up to 2 more)
- Maximum 3 entries per artist
- Multiple images in a single frame subject to entry fee per image

- First Place: $450
- Second Place: $200
- Third Place: $100
- Honorable Mention (2): $50 each
Sales & commission
All works must be for sale. Cape Fear Studios retains 30% commission on sales. State sales tax applies. No work may be withdrawn early. Payment made to artist within 30 days after exhibit closes. Price must remain the same as listed on entry form.
Delivery & logistics
- Works shipped or hand delivered must arrive September 17-22, 2026 to Cape Fear Studios, 148 Maxwell Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301
- Label with artist name, contact information, title, medium, and price must be attached to back of art
- Artist responsible for insurance and shipping costs
- Shipped entries must include pre-paid return label
- Pick up hand-delivered works November 25-27 (11am-5pm) or November 28 (10am-2pm)
- Return shipping begins November 27, 2026
