Overview
PATAGONIA ARGENTINA is a multidisciplinary residency program on the shores of Lago Moreno in Bariloche, Argentina, designed for creators seeking to explore and deepen their artistic practice within the breathtaking Patagonian autumn. Located within Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi, the residency offers immersion in forests of coihues and lengas, pristine glacial lakes, and inspiring mountain peaks as a natural laboratory for sensory exploration and site-specific research.

Eligibility
Open to creators from all disciplines who wish to experience Patagonia's nature and explore their artistic process. This includes visual artists, photographers, filmmakers, curators, writers, researchers, sound artists, and practitioners from any field. Any stage of career; artists based anywhere in the world welcome. Spouses/partners allowed for full stay (non-collaborators). Teams may apply collaboratively.
What is included
Program participation integrates independent practice with field trips to cultural and ecological sites around the Circuito Chico, guided by one on-site curator. Private bedroom with ensuite bathroom for every artist. Some meals provided (at least 2 meals daily). Shared studios and facilities. Optional curated field walks, activities, and daily talks. All activities are optional to respect each participant's creative flow.
Residency fees
Participation fee: $2,495 USD (standard 3-week session, private accommodation ensuite). Full value of residency: $2,590 USD. Payment schedule: 50% deposit required within 10 days of acceptance; remaining 50% due 60 days prior to arrival. Flexibility available upon request—contact organizers if you cannot meet these deadlines.
