2026 Associate Online Exhibition

Overview

The National Oil & Acrylic Painters' Society (NOAPS) invites Associate Members to apply to an online exhibition honoring the best in oil and acrylic painting. NOAPS has been showcasing the talents of oil and acrylic painters since 1991.

• Entry Deadline: Wednesday, August 5, 2026, midnight Pacific Time
• Awards Announcement & Publication on website: Monday, August 24, 2026

Eligibility

All NOAPS Associate Members whose dues are current are eligible to enter. This exhibition does not include Signature or Master members. Artists must be 18 years of age or older and work in oil and/or acrylic medium only.

What to Submit

One original two-dimensional painting per artist, completed in the last three years, working in oil and/or acrylic paints only. Artwork must not have been previously accepted in any other NOAPS National Exhibit or NOAPS Online Exhibition. No minimum or maximum size.

Terms & Conditions

Artwork must be original and created from conception to completion by the artist in oil and/or acrylic only. Artists may use their own photos as reference materials but not photos from other sources. No mixed media, painted giclee prints, digital reproductions, artwork copied from other artists, or work created in instructional settings are eligible. The use of Artificial Intelligence in any way is not allowed. NOAPS does not receive a commission on sold work. Paintings do not have to be for sale. Entry fees are non-refundable.

Entry Fee

Associate Members: $30 for one painting. Current 2026 NOAPS membership is required. Entry fee is non-refundable.

Awards

• Best of Show: $1,000
• Second Place: $550
• Third Place: $450
• Ten 'Best of' Awards: $200 cash each
• Ten Excellence Awards: $100 cash each
• Ten Merit Awards: One year NOAPS membership ($62 value)
• Top Three Award winners earn one point toward Signature Status
• All artists receive recognition on www.NOAPS.org with artist name, website link, and image

Submission Process

All entries will be submitted via ShowSubmit. Digital files should be saved in universal JPEG format with a maximum 30MB file size. Minimum pixel dimension should be 1,500 pixels on the longest edge. Do not include frame, mat, or background in the photo. Artists can log back into their application before the deadline to change the submitted painting.
