Overview
The Iredell Photography Club presents its 2026 Annual Carolina Photography Competition, an open juried show celebrating photographic talent. The competition is open to all photographers with no date limitations on images.

- Notification of Jury Results: Tuesday, August 4, 2026
- Intake: Friday, September 11, 5:00–7:30pm and Saturday, September 12, 2:30–4:00pm
- Reception & Awards: Friday, September 18, 6:00–7:30pm
- Exhibition: September 18 – October 9, 2026 at Lake Mountain Coffee
- Pickup: Saturday, October 10, 5:00–7:30pm and Sunday, October 11, 2:30–5:00pm
Eligibility & Restrictions
Open competition with no restrictions on photographer location or career stage. Original work only; no AI-generated entries accepted. Images must not contain political or religious messaging, nudity, violence, or commercial content as deemed by organizers. Previously submitted or award-winning work is eligible.
Media & Format
Digital image submission with physical framed prints required for intake. Longest framed edge may not exceed 48 inches. Images must not have watermarks or signatures.

- Iredell Photography Club Members: $35 for up to three images
- Non-members: $50 for up to three images
- No refunds provided after payment

How to Enter
Register and submit digital images online via ArtCall. Print the Artwork Label from your ArtCall Submissions page and affix the back label to each framed entry. Bring framed work to intake at Lake Mountain Coffee during designated hours.
Judge
Clayton Joe Young, photographer and Director of Photography at Catawba Valley Community College in Hickory, North Carolina. MFA in Photography from Savannah College of Art and Design. Award-winning photographer with extensive exhibition history and experience judging competitions.
