About
Artists apply to participate in a 2–6 week residency focused on artist book creation and experimentation at Aviário Studio in Portugal.
Overview
Aviário Studio Artist Book Residency is a program that provides technical conditions, time, and space to develop ideas in the artist book field. The residency promotes exploration and production within book arts and is designed to facilitate connection and knowledge exchange among artists from different backgrounds. The duration, focus, and outcome of the residency is defined by the participating artist's goals—it can serve as a moment of experimentation and research or as the consolidation of a project into a new body of work.
