About
Submit abstract artwork in any visual medium for a curated international online group exhibition.
Overview
No. 35 Gallery invites artists worldwide to submit abstract work for an international online group exhibition. The exhibition explores abstraction across contemporary artistic practices, from colour, form, gesture, and texture to conceptual, geometric, and experimental approaches. Selected artists will present work in a curated online exhibition hosted on the gallery website, with curatorial presentation and promotion.
Who Can Apply
This open call is open to artists worldwide working in any visual art medium or discipline. Both emerging and established artists are welcome. Applicants must be aged 18 or over.
What to Submit
Artists are invited to submit works that move beyond direct representation and engage with colour, form, line, texture, gesture, rhythm, space, material, emotion, perception, and visual experimentation. The theme welcomes geometric abstraction, lyrical abstraction, gestural practices, minimal approaches, abstract expression, conceptual abstraction, experimental image-making, and contemporary interpretations of non-representational and semi-abstract practice. All visual art mediums are welcome, including painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, digital art, textile art, printmaking, drawing, collage, installation documentation, and other contemporary practices.
