HER.SELF

Overview

Art Fluent invites artists worldwide to submit artwork to the online exhibit HER.SELF. The theme honors women in all their complexities—her presence, her resilience, her beauty, her becoming.

Key dates

• JPEGs due: Friday, July 17, 2026, at midnight MST
• Notification of acceptance and online gallery opening: Friday, August 21, 2026

Eligibility

Open to artists worldwide, both amateur and professional. Work that has been selected for previous exhibits with Art Fluent will not be considered.

Media & requirements

• Images: up to 20, JPEG format, 1,200 pixels minimum on longest side, 5 MB max
• Video: up to 6 files, MOV/MP4/WMV, 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio, 640x480 to 1920x1080 resolution, under 100 MB
• Diptychs and triptychs should be uploaded as a single image
• Work copied or done under instructor guidance is not eligible

Fees

• $25 for first entry
• $10 for each additional entry (up to 20 total)
• For 3D work, no additional fees needed for detail shots; send extra views by email to hello@art-fluent.com
• Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance
• A portion of entry fee proceeds is donated to organizations supporting the arts

Awards

• Best of Show: $750
• Two Director's Choice awards: $250 each
• All accepted pieces displayed in online gallery at www.art-fluent.com
• Artists receive 100% of sales

Selection process

Each show is curated and juried by Creative Director Amy Matteson Neill along with an anonymous committee of jurors. No personal feedback is given by jurors. Everyone who submits will be notified of the jurors' selections by email.

How to submit

Submit properly cropped, in-focus images via CaFÉ (Call for Entry). For video work selected for the exhibit, provide the file link via Vimeo.
