Submit up to 5 original dry pastel artworks for jurying in either the Open or Masters division of this online member exhibition.
Overview
A juried online member exhibition for the Red Rock Pastel Society of Nevada featuring two divisions: Open (for members without advanced credentials) and Masters (for established pastelists, signature members, and award-winning artists). Each division has its own panel of judges and exclusive awards.

Eligibility
Open to artists of all levels with active Red Rock Pastel Society of Nevada membership. Artists must choose the appropriate division: Open Division (for members not meeting Masters criteria) or Masters Division (for those with IAPS MC, Eminent Pastellist, PSA Signature, Signature level in other societies, multiple national/international awards, or teaching/presenting credentials).
Eligible Work Requirements
Work must be done with dry pastel (at least 80% of top layer must be dry pastel; no oil pastels). Only two-dimensional works are permitted. Work must be original, not copied, and created within the last two years. Works based on AI-generated references are not accepted. Work must not be created on top of a photo or print, and may not have been awarded major awards in other shows. Not eligible if done under supervision, from guided group online sessions, or previously exhibited in RRPSNV Member Juried Exhibitions.
Entry Fees
- Members: $35 for first image, $10 for each additional
- Platinum Members: $30 for first image, $10 for each additional
- Up to 5 images may be submitted per artist
- Fees are non-refundable and must be paid by deadline
Awards
Open Division and Masters Division each feature the same award structure: Best in Show ($1,000 or sponsor prize of equal/greater value), 1st Place ($500), 2nd Place ($300), 3rd Place ($200). Open Division also includes Honorable Mentions and Juror's Choice Awards. Masters Division includes 3 Awards of Excellence. All awards are in cash or merchandise.
Acceptance & Exhibition
At least one eligible work by each artist will be accepted; total accepted images are at jurors' discretion. All accepted works will be displayed on the Red Rock Pastel Society of Nevada website, promoted on social media, and included in the printed exhibition catalog.
Sales & Commission
Works may be marked Not for Sale (NFS) or For Sale. If a work sells, a 10% commission should be paid to the Red Rock Pastel Society of Nevada. All buyers are directed to the artist's website or email; the artist is responsible for shipping.
