About
Submit up to 2 original artworks inspired by storytelling themes (books, family stories, culture, imagination, nature, music, personal experiences, hopes for the future) for a month-long public exhibition and possible international digital exchange.
Overview
Travel Through Art Studio and Ultra Education invite young artists aged 7–20 to submit artwork for Stories in Motion, a new exhibition celebrating storytelling, imagination and creativity through visual art. Selected artworks will be exhibited at Deptford Lounge, London, and may also be featured as part of an International Creative Exchange with young artists in Toronto, Canada.
Exhibition Details
The exhibition runs from 1–29 August 2026 at Deptford Lounge, a vibrant community and cultural venue in South East London. A launch event takes place on Saturday 1 August 2026 featuring Meet the Artists, the International Creative Exchange Showcase, and the Young Creators Fair.
Theme & Media
Tell Us a Story Through Art. We welcome work inspired by: books and reading, family stories and traditions, culture and heritage, imagination and dreams, nature and wonder, music and movement, personal experiences, and hopes for the future. Drawing, painting, illustration, photography and mixed media are all welcome.
Eligibility & Submission
Young artists aged 7–20 may apply. Participation is free. Parent or guardian details are required for applicants under 18. Artwork must be the artist's original work.

Submission Guidelines
- Maximum 2 artworks per artist
- One artwork may be selected for exhibition
- Fill in up to two submission forms, one artwork per submission form
- Participation is free; no submission fee
After Selection
Selected artists will be contacted by email with artwork delivery instructions. Artwork collection details will be provided following the exhibition. Selected artworks may be featured across Travel Through Art Studio, Ultra Education and partner promotional channels. Attendance at the launch event is optional but encouraged for selected artists.
