Artists from any discipline and anywhere in the world are invited to apply for a 12-week residency in Manchester, NH to develop their creative practice full-time.
Overview
A 12-week residency program designed to bring creative minds from around the world to Manchester, NH. The program supports emerging and mid-career artists with a dedicated time and space to focus full-time on developing their creative practice and stepping into professional careers.
What's Included
- Studio apartment with basic household amenities, heat, hot water, electricity, and internet
- $350 travel stipend
- $1,600 stipend for food and art supplies
- Access to private kitchen (no meals provided)
- ADA-compliant accessible housing and shared studios
- Concluding solo or duo exhibition opening to feature your work
Residency Length
1 to 3 months.
Expectations & Opportunities
- Participate in public programming and open studio with fellow residents
- Give an artist talk or presentation
- Lead a workshop for the public
- Donate a work of art
- Organize/host additional public events (community dinners, artist talks, studio visits, etc.)
Eligibility
Open to artists worldwide at the emerging or mid-career stage. Artists must apply and be accepted individually; collaborative teams are not accepted as a team.
